In 1999, USMC retained The Sorbara Development Group (SDG) in order to provide project management and construction management services for the completion of the new 181-bed, 59,000 square foot residence building. SDG and HADY worked together to deliver the project on budget and on time for the required September 2001 opening. SDG was responsible for coordinating the design team, liaising with the University and its various user groups, defining project budgets and timelines, as well as obtaining all the land use approvals and all other permits and permissions for construction and occupancy.
