The Broadview Lofts is The Sorbara Development Group's latest conversion project of the old Rexall Drug warehouse at 68 Broadview Avenue. The Sorbara Development Group (SDG) and HADY Construction managed the design and construction of the 152-unit project which was registered in February 2007. In order to preserve the building's charm and industrial flavour, SDG retained and salvaged several of the building's original fixtures and hardware and redistributed the elements within the condominium. The industrial theme was likewise retained on the outside with the creation of an "old factory" landscape complete with native plantings (grasses), un-manicured rock gardens and the construction of a green roof above the surface parking area.
